| A Cowboy's Paean (To a Coyote) - T. Rush |
So, here's a long list of songs that I
have compiled over the past forty years or so. You'll find a liberal
assortment of traditional, modern folk, bluegrass, blues, old-timey,
rock-a-billy, ragtime and more than a few rock tunes. Dylan, The Rolling
Stones, Woody Guthrie, Eric Von Schmidt, Mark Spoelstra, Ledbelly and Warren Zevon
are well represented - they are my musical inspiration. Many of the
tunes have come to me from Tom Rush, the Kweskin Jug Band and Dave Van Ronk,
three major influences from the 1960's when it all began for me. Hopefully
you'll see some tunes that you can relate to. I won't guarantee that I can
perform all of these without reference material, but you will be pleased with
the results...see if you can find my originals - there aren't many.
Please note that I have attempted to assign ownership
based on ASCAP and BMI references - if you know better. let me know too...

| Notes: Traditional - means just
what it says (although sometimes you have to guess); Unknown - usually
means that there may be several authors with songs of the same name or
several variations of the same song (in other words, it's not really clear
who wrote the original song). |
